Just a couple of quick snapshots of Halifax and area. We made it to Reykjavik at 5:00 am (6hours ahead of home), spent about 3 minutes trying to deal with the bus system and quickly gave up and jumped in a cab and 45 min later (22,000 krone) were at our apartment. Slight miscalculation we had nowhere to sit or go until we received keys at 8:30, we managed to find a gas station close by that had coffee and croissants (with ham in them oops sorry to the vegetarians). We sat outside the apartment and looked like lost tourists for a couple hours as people went to school and work, got the keys and we are safe and sound. Today will be a lazy day looking into groceries and get some ideas what to do for the next four days here. Apartment is really nice little place we found through homeaway.com website. Kelsey out
