We have left Ennis and travelled up to Moira, just a little south of Belfast. Wendi had found a cottage to stay at with a traditional thatched roof and booked it for a few days. We arrived at the local train platform in the rain and contacted the owner Raymond, he showed up in about two minutes and picked us up. We were only here for about an hour and decided to ask if we could spend the rest of or time here, the house/converted barn is perfect. We are about 1mile from the train and the same to groceries and staying on a farm that has been in Raymond's family for a few generations. The house is Berwick Hall and can be seen at www.berwickhall.com, it is everything you imagine a farm would be in Ireland and Raymond is an amazing host. One of the last days in Ennis we visited the Bunratty castle and medieval village, and had lunch at Durty Nellys, a pub just outside of the village. We spent the day yesterday taking the train into Belfast to see the St George's market and visit the tourist centre. We are hoping to see a few sites in Northern Ireland before we leave for Paris Sunday.
